Andrea Cola and Marcel Tobler fight for the vice title

REMUS Formula Cup - Brno racetrack (CEZ)

The REMUS Formula Cup comes to its 7th round in Brno (07.-09.09.2018) where the two finals will take place. After the 6th round at Imola, the league will race alongside the FIA CEZ Formula. “We are really excited about the final weekend in Brno. As of right now we will have a grid of more than 30 cars. Brno is an awesome racetrack, where the REMUS Formel Pokal was already at the start in the last few years’ finals”, says the coordinator Franz Woess. Sandro Zeller (Jo Zeller Racing) has been champion in Formula 3 since Imola, Italy, where he secured the championship prematurely. He lies at 276 points at the top. Behind him there will be a showdown in Brno. Andrea Cola (Monolite Racing) is currently second with 142 points, followed by Marcel Tobler (Jo Zeller Racing) with 137 points. The vice-title in Formula 3 will be therefore decided between this two pilots. Theoretically, also Antonio Pellegrino (Scuderia Antonio) could intervene in this fight since he’s ranked 4th with 114 points. For Kurt Boehlen, on the other hand, it will be difficult to improve sufficiently with his 103 points. The first qualifying will take place on Friday at 3:20 pm. Race 1 will take place on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Finally, on Sunday, after the second qualifying session at 8:30 am, Race 2 will be held at 11:25 am.
